About

We live in a world infatuated with darkness.
Obsessed with both secrets and pop culture, we feast on our celebrity's pains and mistakes.
Somehow this makes us feel better about our own misfortunes and disgraces.
We've painted Hollywood as this alternate reality where all people involved are horrible beings with no morals or emotions.
But are they really all that different from the average Joe? Aren't they people, too?
Why is perfection expected from cultural icons?
Why is it okay to judge others just because they can't keep their sins as private as we can?
It would be easy just to blame the news. After all, they're the ones seeking out all of the bad.
But the newspaper just prints what will sell; what the people want.
So why is it in such high demand?
At what point in history did we decide that the bad in people was more worth hearing than the good?
Have we simply decided to discredit the good, or have we grown into the belief that there is no good to be found in Hollywood?
The good is there.
You just have to look for it.
