After the earthquakes in Haiti, Sandra Bullock generously donated $1 million to the Red Cross. After the tsunamis swept through Japan, she once again gave $1 million, in order to aid the victims of the tragedy. After this great gift, several other celebrities spread the word about donating through social media, resulting in the Red Cross receiving more than $2.6 million in text message donations.
